Our Core Team

Simon

Simon Dawes
Managing Director

They say the best people to have in IT are anti-people people: they're amazing in front of a computer but fizzle in front of a human. Real people on the other hand, those who are easy to get along with, find the more complex side of technology frustrating. We happen to know that it's possible to have the best of both worlds, and Simon Dawes is living proof.

Which is why we let him be the face of Cerebrum, the first port of call for our new clients and generally act as if he's the brains behind the whole outfit.

Malcolm

Malcolm Breheny
Programmer

If he wasn't such a good programmer we're not sure we'd be able to forgive him for his membership of the Melbourne Football Club. But for what Malcolm lacks in supporter's tastes he makes up for with his skills on the web... in spades.

And if you're looking for a ring-in to help win your next pub trivia comp, he's a gun for hire.

A small business is only as good as its network of partners:

Through the collaboration with experts, agencies and partners we are always able to deliver the highest-quality solution with the minimum of overheads and a small core team that coordinates the process.

Michael

Michael Schams
Project Manager

As a skilled computer professional and with a degree in computer sciences, Michael brings a special precision and organisation to Cerebrum. In fact he is so organised that he sometimes scares us, but it's what makes him so good at what he does. His international work experience over several years and the way he structures and plans projects ensures we keep on track and we get them done on time and budget.

In his spare time, Michael is keen on loud, fast music and he loves cats.

Christian

Christian Lerrahn
Consultant

Christian is one of the smartest guys we know. He has a love for command line Linux, is a disciple of security guru Bruce Schneier, is working on a PhD in Atmospheric Science and speaks three languages. While we could take over the world with that sort of brain power, we use it for good by getting Christian to solve your business problems with his inside-out understanding of the TYPO3 CMS.

With all that going on you'd think he'd only have time to eat and sleep, but he still manages to undertake volunteer work with refugees and participate in the CouchSurfing network. It's complex, Google it.
