Challenge
Accuracy in product orders is critical, especially for custom-made wheelchairs consisting of hundreds of parts and optional accessories. A review showed that most orders required rework, such as customer follow-ups or manual adjustments.
Magic Mobility sought an online ordering system that allowed sales agents to configure customised wheelchairs efficiently while maintaining flexibility. Improving order accuracy and operational efficiency without compromising on customisation was essential.
Solution
Cerebrum designed, developed, and delivered an intuitive online quoting and ordering system. The solution enabled international sales agents to efficiently configure wheelchairs tailored to their customers’ needs. The action-driven workflow enhanced user experience, and order accuracy approached 100% within weeks of launch.
Built on TYPO3, an enterprise open-source content management system, the platform has been extended over time to meet evolving needs. The system integrates with an external CRM via API and allows agents to order spare parts.
